About the log

Three of us keep this going between other things. It started as a notebook in the sailing club porch and moved online so the tide table would stop walking off. The numbers are ours, kept for the pleasure of keeping them.

The usual caveats

Predictions are predictions. Wind and pressure push the real water level around, sometimes by half a metre and twenty minutes. If you are on the water, use a proper almanac and your own eyes. This page is for walkers, mooring holders and anyone who likes to know whether the flats will be out at lunchtime.

Get in touch

Corrections and the odd kind word reach us through the sailing club noticeboard, which we check most weekends. If you spot a reading that looks wrong, tell us; a mistake caught is a mistake mended.

No cookies, no tracking, no account. Just a tide table and some weather.
